These terms cover your use of the Snoaring mobile app, published by Akshay Kotish & Co. Installing or using the app means you accept them.
A purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own. It is a one-time purchase rather than a subscription, and it is tied to your Snoaring account so it can be restored on a new device.
Payments are processed by Apple or Google, not by us; we never see your card details. Refunds are governed by their policies — use reportaproblem.apple.com for the App Store, or your order history on Google Play. We will help where we can, but we cannot issue a refund on their behalf.
The app records audio in the room where your phone is. You are responsible for complying with the recording and privacy laws that apply where you live, including telling anyone else who sleeps in the room that recording is taking place, and obtaining their consent where the law requires it.
Do not use the app to record people without their knowledge where that is unlawful, attempt to circumvent the purchase, reverse engineer or redistribute the app except where the law expressly permits it, or interfere with the services it relies on.
We aim to keep the app working but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The morning analysis depends on a third-party service (Google Gemini) that may change or become unavailable. Detection and recording continue to work on your device regardless.
The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions taken on the basis of its reports. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
These terms may be updated; the date above will change and material updates will be noted in the app's release notes. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
